The window opened by clicking on the Periods tab allows you to enter the variables related to timetable options. You must define the following:

  • the number of times per cycle the course will be taught
  • the number of periods per day the course will be taught
  • the days and/or periods the course may not be scheduled in.

The following is an example of how to set up the information for a course that is offered every day of the week.

The Periods Tab offers you great scheduling flexibility. You may leave course timetabling possibilities entirely up to the Scheduler or you may define severe restrictions.

The following is an example of how you would enter the variables for a course offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with an extra period scheduled each Monday.

Under the Lists Tab you will enter the necessary pre- and co- requisites each student must take to be eligible for enrollment in a course. Another feature allows co-requisites to be automatically added onto the student course requests.

Generate your own course calendar by entering course content information in the comments tab and using the Report Manager to generate a template to access the information in report format.
